SUNNY LEONE is one of the most popular entertainment stars to have emerged in recent years – and her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 is perhaps testament to her ability to make the most of the opportunities presented to her.
She is one of the characters ‘Charlie’ in the new film, ‘Kennedy’ by Indian auteur, Anurag Kashyap which had its official Midnight Screening on May 24/25.
In this interview, she does not shy away from talking about her incredible journey as a young girl of Indian descent growing up in Canada and then entering the adult entertainment industry in America before heading for India and entering Bollywood via the reality TV show, ‘Bigg Boss’ – it led to work in Bollywood, making her debut in ‘Jism2’ and she has appeared in ‘Shootout to Wadala’, ‘Raees’, and ‘Baadshaho’.
In Cannes, spoke to us before making debut on the red carpet on Tuesday (May 23) and then again for the film itself with Kashyap, Bhatt and other talent from the film in Cannes for its official world premiere.
