Picture 4 – Director Johnny Ma and the two lead actors from his film, ‘To Live to Sing’ which screened here last night as part of New Chinese Cinema strand. The film had its world premiere at Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes earlier this year and charts the course of a traditional Chinese Opera troupe – Ma spoke to acv about the film at IFFAM, look out for the interview!
