Baahubali‘ is one of the most successful franchises ever launched in Indian cinema. Delivered in two instalments at a cost of over £60 million approximately, it went onto gross almost five times that and became one of the biggest selling films of all time in India and abroad.

It is an epic tale set in mythological times with a central character of panache, strength, charm and love – Sivudu (Prabhas) is widely admired and seen as a figure all look up to right from his young days through to the challenge of manhood and leadership.

Baahubali – The Beginning Live’ will play out on the big screen in thHindi with English subtitles and the film score reprised by Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

Lucy Noble, artistic director of the Royal Albert Hall, said: “We’re so excited to announce that the talent behind Baahubali – including three of the world’s most popular movie stars – will be coming to the Hall for this unique celebration of a cinematic phenomenon.”
