The gathering was organised by Society of O, a platform created to amplify creative voices in the South Asian community and US Product of Culture, a marketing & distribution outlet. It was founded by Sukki Menon and Parvinder Shergill (‘Kaur‘) and at the event, double Oscar nominated US documentary director Geeta Gandbhir called on creatives of colour to join forces and “be strong together”.
