ACV Bird Eye Review Show: Horror and spook – ‘Mumbai Diaries 26/11’, ‘Uravidam’ and ‘Bhoot Police’

Check in with our Nat as she looks at the latest releases online and what’s caught her beady vulture eyes from Mumbai…

SO, what is on your online (OTT) viewing radar this month – let our Nat help you as she looks at the latest releases far and wide from Mumbai…
In the 17th episode (do keep up!), looking at – August-September, she goes into Bombay General Hospital – the setting for ‘Mumbai Diaries 26/11’ an eight episode series that covers the comings and goings in the hospital on that fateful day when terrorists wreaked havoc for several days from that date.
Not for the squeamish – and in keeping the theme of horror, Nat watches ‘Urivadam – The Source’ from Malayalam language channel Saina Play (also available free on Youtube) which goes into the depths of the imagination of a young troubled man – you have been warned!
Finally and prompted by ACV Bird Eye Review Show team scripter Roy – Nat casts her beady bird eyes over ‘Bhoot Police’ from Disney+ Hotstar and its all-star cast: Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, Jaaved Jaaferi.
What did our Nat make of the two brothers whose job it is to track down ghosts and what happens when they have to confront ‘kichkandi’ – an evil feminine spirit with special powers that are common in Nepali folklore.

The Bird Eye Show contains reviews of three offerings to be found in the online (OTT space) and either from South Asia or with a strong angle relevant to it. It drops on the third Friday of every month! Subscribe and never miss! Connect with Natalie – tell her what you want to watch!
