Monsoon Marriages – our Bird Eye Review show claws ‘Maharani’, ‘Ek Mini Katha’ (penis drama), and ‘Triple Whammy’…Monsoon Marriages

More on this month’s regular review of the digital/OTT space from the sub-continent with Nat Bollywood (Natalie Barrass)

MONSOON MARRIAGES – it sounds like a film, doesn’t it?
Mira Nair’s film was ‘Monsoon Wedding’ (2002) but this is theme of our Nat Bollywood’s June Bird Eye Review Show (Episode 14) as she reviews ‘Maharani’ (Sony Liv), ‘Ek Mini Katha’, a Telugu production available on Amazon Prime and finally, ‘Triple Whammy’ starring Urvashi Goverdhan and Sanjay Manaktala (Malayalam/English) and available on Neestream.
Maharani, which stars well-known Huma Qureshi (see her interview with us from Cannes in 2018 -) is about the wife of a politician thrust into the top job when her husband decides to hand over the reins unexpectedly to his wife.
In ‘Ek Mini Katha’ a young man really think he won’t measure up – yes in the trouser department!
And in ‘Triple Whammy’ a cute couple go off the rails…but why and how?
Have you seen any of these?
What do you think of them?
What do you think of Nat’s reviews? Agree with them head – do coment on the Youtube page
