This is a remarkable achievement in a very short space of time – we caught up with co-founder Sunita Kumar, who is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to tell us a little more about LetsOTT.com

www.asianculturevulture.com: When and how did LetsOTT.com start?

Sunita Kumar (SK): It started in May 2019. There is a big need for information about streaming platforms all in one place and we are a site that pulls information together from a variety of sources – and allows fans and those interested in particular films and series to share their passion and information – as well as catch up on news, reviews and the latest commissions online.

ACV: Tell us a little bit about your own background…

SK: I am a lawyer turned media person in the making and an ardent entrepreneur. I run many businesses and LetsOTT is my favourite. I love all the hype in the media and film industry.

ACV: What does the OTT (streaming space) mean to you…

SK: To me the OTT space is a place and means of providing television and film content over the internet at the request and to suit the requirements of the individual consumer.

ACV: What’s in store for this link-up between ACV and LetsOTT…

SK: Watch this space! More seriously, I believe that ACV and LetsOTT can go a long way in helping audiences get the information about the films, series and stars they are most interested in and continue to further build engagement and interest and develop both sites as distinct global powerhouses.
