We interview Shekhar Kapur, one of the world’s best-known film directors in Macau (China). He is an ambassador of the International Film Festival and Awards Macau (December 8-14) and he talks about his next project, visualising the Ibis trilogy of novels by Amitav Ghosh, how he will make a film about the subject (and scarcity) of water; the screening of his seminal ‘Bandit Queen’ which was a director’s choice here in Macau and what he has been doing recently…
