SHE IS A RISING star – and first made her name as a dancer-performer in Haryana.
She talks to www.asianculturevulture.com’s Suman Bhuchar, acv associate editor, about her origins, family support and her appearance then in ‘Big Boss 12’ – which put her on the map in India and remains one of the most popular TV shows in the country.
So, how does a dancer-performer with humble origins in Haryana go from performing locally, then getting on national TV in India and end up going to Cannes. Yes, she will be going into films…
We wanted to know…and we think she’s one to watch – not just in Cannes – where she expects to return – but London too and the world…this sounds like more of a beginning rather than the pinnacle?
