First time writer-director draws from his own life in this searing tale described by some as a British ‘Goodfellas’…
VERY autobiographical and almost unbelievable, writer-director Yassa Khan invites us into his early life…
With a father for a career criminal and growing up in Wales as a mixed race gay man, this is a tale that will stay with you.
Khan discusses how he came to make this film – he has only been making films since the pandemic and this is his first professional narrative short film.
He talks about what getting Gordon Warnecke meant for him, having first seen the iconic actor as a young man in ‘My Beautiful Laundrette’.
Expect to be hearing more about Yassa Khan and his story as he looks to make it into a feature film.
